Earlier today I placed an order to a restaurant in Haarlem on Thuisbezorgd. Once I received the message from the app that the courier is on their way to my house, I started monitoring the camera outside of my house to go down as soon as they arrive. No one arrived, despite receiving a second message from the app ing the courier was close by. After some time I received an email from thuisbezorgd stating the courier rang the door bell and no one answered, that they tried to contact me via phone when I was not picking up and that the food was left at my doorstep. No one was at my door and no one called my phone. Obviously, there was no food left at my doorstep. Thuisbezorgd refuses to refund the money I spent with them as they tried to contact me and I was unreachable.
