Mijn Klacht:

During the adverts before the film Strange World (rated for 6 year olds and over) my 6 10 year old sons had to listen to Zappelin film trailer showing a child saying what the fuck. I know the Dutch seem not to place any significance on swearing in other languages, but please, in a kids movie?

On American TV such swearing is censored and in the UK it wouldn’t be heard until after 9pm – this is because swearing is offensive to normal English speaking people – hence it is done so much in Films to be provocative.
