Klacht: Incorrect processment of my contracts

Mijn Klacht:

On October 2014 I applied for a Vodafone SIM card in an Amsterdam office, and I was told that if I was to reach the limits of my bundle, I would only get reduced speeds, and not any additional costs on my bill. This has never been the case as I’ve always been charged different amounts, even though the variance was between a couple of euros so I did not care too much. However, last month I got charged over 20 euros extra, doubling my bill, so I decided to look into this.

On a different subject, on August 2015 I got a new appartment in Amsterdam, and as at the time I was quite pleased with Vodafone’s overall service, I decided to stick with the company as well as my internet provider at home. I got a visit from a Vodafone’s salesman at my new house who offered me a good deal and I decided to take it. He told me that it was complicated to get it running the same week but that it should be certain that on the following week I would have Internet working at my house. Turns out that at least 6 or 7 weeks passed before I had internet at my house, with no one at Vodafone being able to give me a proper timeline because part of the installation process was delegated to another company.

Gewenste Oplossing:

For the first issue mentioned, I would like to request to get back the money I paid as an extra bonus last month. As for the rest of monthly payments that I made slightly exceeding the established contract, I would like to get a refund as far as the capabilities of Vodafone go on being able to check if I was legitimately charged or not.

As for the second incident, I understand that there is not much that Vodafone can do to compensate me as it is not a financial issue. Nonetheless, I would like to receive an explanation of how something took so long to be delivered (6 to 7 weeks) when one of their representatives gave a 1-2 week deadline, and an apology from the company if it is deemed that there was misguidance or that I was not properly informed by their employee.

Both my contracts are expired or will soon, and depending on how well Vodafone replies to these complaints will affect my decision or whether to renew my contracts with them or not.
