ik schrijf het in het engels want ik vermoed dat het dan makkelijker te begrijpen is voor dat bedrijf. i want to file a complaint. I booked an appartment in edinburgh many months ago (cause in august its very pricy and busy because of the festival). there was a link that I should tranfer money before july 1. When I wanted to do that it said that the credit card will be charged automatically. Still I received mails from booking.com that I should pay. I called booking.com before july 1 to ask what I should do. the advice was to just ignore the mails, everything will work out fine. Then suddenly booking.com cancelled the appartment. I sent many e-mails, no respons. So i called booking.com and they said someone else booked the appartment and sorry. We had to book another accomodation in the centre, not many options. But we are so angry it was not our fault and now we have to pay a lot more.
Solution will be to compensate us moneywise.
