Een passagier heeft een klacht ingediend bij Lufthansa over meerdere annuleringen en vertragingen van zijn vluchten. De uitgaande vlucht had een vertraging van drie dagen, vergezeld van een extra vertraging van vijf dagen voor de bagage, en de terugvlucht had een vertraging van vier dagen. De klager vraagt om compensatie vanwege de ernstige impact op zijn reis.

Mijn Klacht:

Dear Lufthansa,
I am contacting you as I want to request a compensation for my flights which have had an outrageous delay. In summary: I had a 3 day delay on my outgoing flight with an extra 5 day luggage delay and a 4 day delay on the return flight. I hope you understand the severity of this practice and the impact it had on my journey. My booking code for this journey was UD24KU.
Below you will find an overview of my journey:
Outbound flights delayed because of fuel disruption Schiphol airport, causing me to reach EBL airport with a delay of 3 days (27-07-2019 instead of 24-07-2019).
I was transferred on a KLM flight on the 24th July which was also cancelled. So I returned the 25th of July to the airport where I was told to come back the next day (26-07-2019), and I was rebooked at Qatar airlines: AMS-DOH 26 July DOH-EBL 27 July.
When I reached Erbil I noticed my luggage had not arrived. Luggage was retrieved and returned after 5 days.

Meantime I have had to make many expenses such as buying a new phone charger (€35,00), basic hygiene products, etc.
For the way back, my flight was cancelled without my knowledge. I had to wait at the airport for 3 hours before this was clear. Turns out they had cancelled my return flight as my outgoing journey was disrupted. Instead of flying home on 07-08-2019 I had to be transferred to other flights (booking code UD24KU) on 11-08-2019, causing another delay of 4 days.
The judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Tui others v CAA ed the applicability of compensation for delay as set out in the Sturgeon case. As such, I am seeking compensation under EC Regulation 2612004 for this delayed journey
I am seeking compensation of 400€ per bound due to the fact that the scheduled length of my flight was 3542 km. This compensation is per bound and also for the delay of my luggage, resulting in a total of 1200€.
