Klacht over BCC: Brother DCP9015CDW problem

Mijn Klacht:

I have a Brother laser printer, bought Oct 2017. It now shows an error message and has a clicking sound. I contacted BCC to get a repair as it is less than 3 years old. BCC said no because they say the printer only has an economical lifespan of 2 years!! I find that seriously flawed. How can a laser printer have such a short lifespan?? I dont believe that to be correct. I am therefore contacting you to get this matter resolved.

Gewenste Oplossing:

I will be happy when BCC repair the printer at their expense

The economic life of this printer is 24 months. I would like to refer you to the guidelines for the average useful life expectations of products from TechniekNederland, to which BCC acts in accordance. Because the printer is economically depreciated, we do not offer a repair service for this.

Brother NL state the lifespan is 4.5 to 5 years!!!! That is the manufacturer!!! Therefore what right do you have to tell the manufacturer that they do not know their own products????
