I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding my recent purchase through Bol.com, specifically involving the seller Optie1 Leiden – Imobile Shop. On September 17th, I made a substantial investment by purchasing a laptop valued at €1199 under order number 4006806118. The laptop was delivered ly on September 19th.
Regrettably, I soon discovered that the laptop was not compatible with my mobility needs, particularly with respect to my wheelchair usage. Consequently, I made the swift decision to return the laptop in its pristine condition, taking care to add additional protective bubble wrap to ensure its integrity. This return was initiated on the very day of its delivery, September 19th.
My initial interaction with the seller was disheartening, as they exhibited anger concerning the return process. However, he subsequently assured me that I would receive a refund within five days.
In the weeks that followed, I attempted to seek resolution through various communication channels, including telephone calls, emails, and online chats with Bol.com. Regrettably, each time I contacted Bol.com, I was assured of a response within two or five working days, yet no concrete progress transpired. Notably, the sole update available was a record indicating the laptop’s delivery date as September 20th.
Per Bol.com’s established policies, the return process should be completed within a ten-day timeframe. Regrettably, it has been nearly a month since the delivery, and no discernible progress has been made.
Yesterday, in my latest interaction with Bol.com, I was informed that my case has been handed over to another department, with the promise of future contact. I am growing increasingly fatigued by this protracted issue and the apparent obfuscation of the return process by the seller.
In light of these prolonged and frustrating circumstances, I kindly implore you to intervene and expedite a resolution in my favor. I trust in your commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction, and I am eager to reclaim my funds ly.
