Mijn Klacht:
1: On the 4th of May 08:30 I called that I had a flat tire (in Germany). 11:00 still nobody showed up. Called SIXT. 13:00 a towing car showed up. Towed to a Mercedes dealer. There they needed the registry of the car. Called SIXT maybe 10 times. Put on hold several times. Sometimes they hanged up. No clear answer on the problem. Finally, around 16:30 there was somebody competent enough to help me with the Mercedes dealer. 17:00 it was all arranged but I had to pay the bill myself. To summarize: For a flat tire I lost 1 day. 08:30 till 17:00. Which is absurd. In my opinion. ( 1 had to pay for an additional night in a hotel).
2: Next issue: Back in Utrecht they ensured me that I didn’t have to pay the additional day for the rental car because of above issues. This was discussed with his manager, so I was told. Today (6th of May) I found out they deducted the additional amount from my credit card.
3: I filled the damage form that they send me. With the costs I made for repairing the flat tire. No reply until now. Also where I have to send the bill there was no reply. The whole procedure of declaring the bill is not known to me.
A follow up on above issues would be appreciated.
I am waiting for an answer as of 6th of May. Acknowledgement of receipt would also be appreciated.
Send feedback to 3 different departments within sixt trough their site but no answer or follow up.
Gewenste Oplossing:
When I get my money back. I agreed to pay at the location and was told to declare it afterwards. Also get my money back for the additional rental day.
