Hello Ikea Team
I purchased a lot of household furniture worth 2000 eur and got them delivered at home with a cost of around 200 euros for the transport. The Friheten sofa, when it arrived, the longest article pack was already broken from outside and also inside. The transport personnel already knew about it, they refused to take it back. We called customer service which usually costs hell lot of money with a minimum waiting time of 30 minutes.I received a complaint number 7527427 with a fake promise that someone would call next day from Ikea delft to make an appointment for replacement.
I have already called 5-6 times to customer service everyone tells they will call you tomorrow.No one called. Finally visited Ikea personally and they also promised , someone will call tomorrow to make an appointment.
Finally today they tell me that it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to replace it,which is even more frustating. If they knew it from the beginning why did they keep promising that it will take a few days. If I had to order something new in Ikea , they deliver it next day however if you were unlucky to receive something broken it takes 3 weeks ,this is amazing customer service.This way no customer would be coming back to Ikea again.Atleast I am not coming back again.
Gewenste Oplossing:
Sofa is replaced as soon as possible , I should be compensated for poor customer service , calls of almost 50 euros.wasted time and energy and having that large broken article lying unsafely in my living room on the way for a long time with a small baby at home.
