Een klant heeft een klacht ingediend over Goldcar, gerelateerd aan een autohuur in Tenerife. Na het boeken van een vlucht en extra diensten via Ryanair, kocht de klant een verzekering bij Axa om het eigen risico van €1200 te dekken. Bij het ophalen van de huurauto in Tenerife zou Goldcar niet correct hebben gehandeld met betrekking tot de ingeleverde documenten en de verzekering.

Dear Mr. or Mrs,
I booked a flight from Eindhoven airport to Tenerife.
On the websiteof Ryanair I booked additional luggage, chairs and an a car.
On the site of Ryanair they adviced me that it was wise to cover the own risk of € 1200.00 -in Tenerife and I could cover my own risk through an insurance of the Axa Group Inter Partner 166B-1050 Brussels AvenueLouise Belgium
I paid € 67,84 for the period from 5/12 to 12/12
The company was related to Ryanair and Goldcar was also related to Ryanair
I n Tenerife I gave the registration papers which were needed to rent the car : the vouchers and the insuranc e papers
I also gave my credit card (for the required petrol for full and full of returning .
So Godcar told me that I had to take their insurance and the additional cost were € 128.-
I refused, for I had an insurance and that was recommended by the website of Ryanair.
But they told me It’s a pity but when you do’nt have our insurance than is Your own risk € 1200,- My wife was afraid of the consequences and I was forced to take a second insurance. The want also charge me for € 1.200,- and there was a long row ( whe ware waiting for about one hour) and I gave my creditcard, but then the told me that the code was wrong. ( I phoned my son in Holland and he told me that the code was right and later on we used the code without problems)
The next step was that we must give our debet card and they would charge us for the fuel and that was not the problem, I knew that but they charged us also for the insurance s and was not all, the did that twice!!
On the site of Ryanair they adviced to rent a car for the lowest price and they recommended an
Insurance of AXA. I did what the proposed and now the cheap car costed about € 550,- for a week and 1 day off my holiday ( I went back two times at the desk of Goldcar) and this is the result.
I will share my experience on Internet and will give a warning to all people. Stay away, don’t do business with Goldcar, and dontt take an insurance from the website of Ryanair ( AXA- Insurance) The polis of that insurance you can throw away.
This is what happened on my account for renting one week a cheap car.
€ 150 euro and yesterday also

Natuurlijk wil ik het extra geld dat van mijn rekening is afgeboekt terugontvangen.

Daarnaast iedereen waarschuwen niet in dezelfde val te lopen
