Mijn Klacht:
I made a reservation via Doyouspain.com for the period June12 until June 26, 2018
I made a reservation with all the insurances included, and fuel FULLFULL. When I came at the Goldcar office on Girona airport, they want to block an amount of EUR 1.100,- on my creditcard as I know, so that was no problem.
But then they asked me also to pay airport taxes and EUR 130,- for the fuel. I told them that I asked for FULLFULL, so I didn’t want to pay for fuel, although they told me that I get the EUR 130,- back when I bring back the car.
I was very surprised, because I always book fuel FULLFULL and I never had to pay for the fuel.
Now I had a problem, because I have an limit on my creditcard of EUR 1.200,- and they wanted to block EUR 1.100,- plus EUR 130,- on my creditcard, so that makes EUR 1.230,-. That means EUR 30,- to much for my creditcard limit.
I asked the lady if I could pay the EUR 30,- cash, but she said no and told me that the only opinion I had, was to take all the insurances for an amount of EUR 248,35.
As I said before I took all the insurances at Doyouspain.com, so I told her, but there was no discusion and I had to pay the insurances again.
I think it is a shame how Goldcar treats their clients. I come every year at Girona Airport for Car hire, but from now on I never hire my car at Goldcar again
I LIKE TO GET AN ANSWER FROM YOU, BUT I’M AFRAID, GOLDCAR IS SUCH A TERRIBLE COMPANY, THAT I NEVER GET AN ANSWER.
Gewenste Oplossing:
Ik ben tevreden, wanneer ik de kosten van de verzekering die ik inSspanje nogmaals moest betalen terug krijg.
Bovenstaande klacht is in het Engels, aangezien ik dit ook al naar Goldcar heb gestuurd als reactie op hun mail, waarin ze om mijn mening vroegen, maar ben bang dat ik daar nooit een reactie op krijg.
