Arrived on time at 7:15am. My credit-card was not accepted. The service attendant tried three times. He, (Mandavit-surname) was also extremely rude and uninterested in my problemsituation- almost seemed like he enjoyed the fact that my credit card was not accepted. I left 45 minutes later – extremely frustrated – and then went immediately to Hertz. Here, I booked another car with exactly the same credit card (at an MUCH MORE expensive price mind you!!!), but with helpful staff
What nonsense the cartrawler bot is. I have tried to contact them on three ocassions regarding case number 01173833. They don’t get back to me and they have taken my money when Europcar could not provide the service that was expected. Namely a credit card machine that worked.
As mentioned before, I had to cancel on the spot and walked to Hertz, where my credit card worked first time!!!!! I have a receipt for this which I tried to upload to the cartrawler website, but it just kept going round in circles and never allowing me to provide this evidence. I also contacted them about this – they never responded – how surprising!
I will definitely try and avoid this company if I possibly can when booking a hire car in the future – Certainly easy to ignore a customer when you already have their money, right??. Shame on Cartrawler!!!!

Gewenste Oplossing:
I believe strongly that I am entitled to a full refund of the cost EUR 79.24 and if customer service is one of Europcar'sCartrawler's missions, then a voucher for the excess I had to pay (40 EUR extra) would also be appreciated.
