I had a contract with Budget Alles-in-een and have stepped over to Ziggo, my contract with Budget was expiring on 26 Aug 2020. Thus on 6 August my husband called them to let them know we no longer need their service and will not continue our contract as of the expiry date. Also we wanted information on how we can return the hardware they installed. They agreed to send us a address to return the hardware to and my husband specifically asked if we needed to do anything else to close our contract, they said no all is done. Great…. so we thought untill I got billed 51.50 Euro again end of August … Which I thought was weird but then again some of these contracts do this to people, they charge in lieu. so I let it go but then again on 28 sept and again now on 28 Oct there is yet more money to be deducted. Today 26 Oct I emailed them furious as to this charge- we have no modem, we use none of their stuff, we have specifically called to cancel back in AUG! Why am I being stolen from! it is daylight robbery, money just dissappears and I am amazed that when I asked them this their only reply is we see you have not terminated your contract- uh hum we CALLED! VIA PHONE! so now the conversation is such that Budget is wiping their hands clean on something clearly gone wrong with comms on their side not ours! We want our money back for AUG SEPT AND OCT! We dont care that your medewerker did not complete their job which was suppose to cancel our account as well when we asked him too- we expect service not a denial of our inefficiency! I am appalled at the lack of CUSTOMER service from the customerservice line! Anyone can read a script and make excuses but real customer service will see the problems in the eyes of the actual customer who they serve? PLEASE help us to get our money back that was unjustly taken from us for services we cancelled from our side and returned goods and made good on our side… lack of action and comms on Budgets’ side is NOT the customers fault and we should not be paying for someone elses mistake.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I would like the Budget team to acknowledge that this is not on the customers fault and reimburse us the EUR51.50 x 3 months EUR 154.50 of our money the deducted off our account monthly in error as they did not cancel our account upon our telephonic request.
