Een klant heeft op 7 maart een overeenkomst met Vodafone gesloten om zijn abonnement over te zetten, maar heeft nooit de beloofde SIM-kaart ontvangen. Na contact met de klantenservice kreeg hij te horen dat er iets mis was gegaan en dat hij op 9 april een nieuwe SIM-kaart zou ontvangen, maar op 8 april ontving hij een SMS dat zijn huidige SIM-kaart zou worden stopgezet zonder dat hij de nieuwe had ontvangen. De klant is ontevreden over de communicatie en de afhandeling van zijn situatie.

Mijn Klacht:

I have made an agreement with Vodaphone on 7 March to switch my subscription to Vodafone. What happened, is that I received the contract (klantnummer 5104419380, but never received the SIM card. I called Vodafone a week ago to ask what was going on, the woman on the phone said Something went wrong! Just call us on 9 April, and you will get a new SIM card! I asked few times, when I would get a SIM card – no answer. I asked what would it happen if my mobile service is discontinued – also no explanation. On 8 April I received an SMS that my current SIM card will be discontinued as of 9 April, and that I have to introduce the new SIM card I never received. I called on 8 April and Department on Status of Orders have explained to me that the SIM card was delivered and the MY SIGNATURE WAS IN THE SYSTEM as I had received the SIM! It means that my signature was FORGED by someone. I asked how is it possible, if for receiving a new SIM card one has to PRESENT an ID and bank card, and SIGN personally! So, 1) I have a contract which I had never signed, and 2) Tomorrow my phone will be discontinued, because someone else had presented a FORGED signature in Vodafone system ON MY BEHALF. The person with whom I spoke today, saw the issue, and checked that in fact the SIM card was delivered by Post NL, not by the company it should have been delivered in this case. He assured I would get a SIM card in a timely fashion. (I hope I receive it tomorrow). However, the problem of GDPR NON-compliance of your company regarding MY PERSONAL DATA in your system remains and it is a serious one! This means that SOMEONE ELSE has signed on my behalf, and YOUR COMPANY DID NOT DO THE NECESSARY TO VERIFY MY PERSONAL DATA! I am a client formally, without having signed any agreement! I would like that Vodafone contacts me IMMEDIATELY and clarifies this issue about the forged signature and HOW YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT MY PERSONAL DATA WILL BE PROTECTED? Thank you very much in advance for paying attention to this request! I hope you get to it very soon!

Gewenste Oplossing:

The person on the phone today (8 April) - Jim, was very polite and really tried to solve the problem. He could do only to fix the SIM delivery.
