I have been using Vinted for approximately 1.5 years primarily as a seller. I have a 100% 5-star review rating, and Vinted earns revenue from my sales. I also use this as a small side-income, selling clothing and household items that I don’t use.
In recent month, I have been having more and more issues with Vinted fraudulently removing my listings, and extremely unsatisfactory customer service response. When a listing is removed, all likes are removed, and any paid bumps for that item are not refunded.
They have removed almost every item in my store for copyright violation. Their definition of this is 1) Photos stolen from another website and/or 2) You are not in possession of the item you are selling.
Neither of these are true. I take all of my own photos, and I am in possession of the items. When attempting to send proof of this to Vinted, they have ignored my messages and refused to reinstate the items.
In the past, once or twice Vinted has apologized for their mistake and promised to not remove that particular item again. Yet it continues to happen for every other item in my store.
Almost every time I have attempted to resolve this with their customer service and not received an adequate response. They insist that I am stealing my photos, claiming that they found my photos on another website. If this is truly the case, which is unlikely, it means that my photos were stolen and uploaded somewhere else. But they will not accept this possibility despite my attempts to explain.
