Mijn Klacht:

I bought one week ago a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 from the seller mariolinini (ebay Belgium). After winning the bid I asked Ebay for the contact details from this seller.
His address was false because it’s a company that sells tires and they didn’t know anything from sales on Ebay nor the sellers name.
The sellers cellular number ended with 765432 so also false.
His name is also false I presume. (Not to be found on google)
I contacted Ebay by phone to warn them that there would be troubles with the seller but they said it looked ok because he had 22 good feedbacks but all from inexpensive items he sold, and the false address and phone number was for Ebay nothing to worry about !
This week the seller mariolinini put more tablets and smartphones for sale, all with 24h auctions.
He sold almost everything because he only accepted paypal.
Ok with paypal I am going to have my money back(with a claim and all the hustle), I hope so.
But it is really disturbing that Ebay did not prevent this seller from selling more items after I warned them.
Yesterday 3 Oct 2004 I gave negative feedback because I did not receive my Samsung tablet and the seller was unable to provide me a tracking number.
I just saw that he got another negative feedback but I can not read this because he set his feedback on private, can you imagine this is possible, !?!
So thanks Ebay for helping fraudulent sellers!
How on earth can the other buyers read what is going on for the moment?
In the meantime this fraudulent seller has more then 2000 euro in sales he is not going to deliver and he is protecting his tracks thanks to Ebay.
Can you sue Ebay for not preventing (and helping !) fraude?

Gewenste Oplossing:

I would like that Ebay puts a hold on a sellers account when the contact details are false or when a buyer warns them about possible fraud.
New sellers should be checked by sending a letter to their name and address with an unlocking code for the new account.
Feedback should always be visible with expensive Items that were not received.
Ebay should not help in any way rouge sellers!
