Mijn Klacht:
I purchased an Apple Watch 7 as soon as it was released in The Netherlands.
It arrived almost two months later, due to stock. I got my watch late November last year. No complains about functionality, but the band is terrible.
After four months it’s on the verge of breaking. Called Apple, got transferred to a senior support adviser called Rene. He made an appointment to call me three days later. He was nice at first.
Somebody else entirely called me. Said that, after escalating, the answer that came from high above mentioned this was not a warranty case. That all I could do was buy a new band.
When asked who I could complain to, he said no-one because the answer came from above, and when asked if I need to pay 200 euros a year to just have the honor to have my watch his answer was yeah.
Absolutely ridiculous quality from a brand of which I have easily 15000 euros of products from. Terrible customer service too.
Nobody should have to pay 200 euros a year in bands to be able to use their watch.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I want a replacement band. I don't do anything that special with my watch, and even Samsung bands have lasted me four years. The band I got has the quality of a 10 euro band, but costs 50. I don't want to pay 50 euros every 4 months to be able to use my Apple Watch.
