Dear Sir / Madam,
In september I rented a car from Ben Gurion Airport in Israel. I Made my reservation trough rentalcars.com. It was for 4 days and the costs were to be 162,70€ (bookingreference 351724895) The receipt and the voucher are added. It was including CDW, TP and TPL. So I covered everything. From my creditcard the 162,70€ was deducted by rentalcars. I drove the car returned it back to Ben Gurion and everything was OK, I thought.
On my creditcard-account Kesher Rent-a-car later made an extra reservation but it went away later so I thought all was allright.
But on 17-10-16 my creditcard was charged an extra 156,58€.
I mailed tot Kesher and they send me a few invoices, one of 169,64 USD and one of 151,45€. So I had paid in total of 319,28€ (also added) An absurd amount for only 4 days renting a small car. I replied to them but they didn’t react anymore. Silence. What happened ?
I thought Hertz or the license holders of Hertz were reliable company who did not plunder your creditcard. But they did.
I awaited an extra charge for fuel, but this can not be more then 40€.
As a customer you walk to a counter and like to thrust the employe in front of you. That he not tries to sneak you into a lot of extra costs, which will double your bill at the end. Especially not at Hertz. I hope you can give me an explanation of this way of doing and hopefully a refund of the extra charges on my creditcard,
