Dear sir, madam,
Last week I returned from my vacation in the USA. I had a beautiful trip with an American friend. When I arrived at the airport in Grand Rapids the stewardess told me my plane to Chicago had a delay, so that I would miss my connecting flight to London. She could book me to another schedule the next day, otherwise I had to stay at the Chicago airport overnight.
And so she did. My new flight was ment to fly from Grand Rapids to Philadelphia, and then directly to Amsterdam, my final destination.
The next day however, the plane to Philadelphia had a delay also, so I missed the connecting flight aigain. Now I was rescheduled again, with an extra stopover in London. All those delays made me come home 21 hours later! I hope you understand that this caused a lot of inconvenience. I would like you to grant me compensation for this. I can send you all the information required.
With kind regards,
Mrs. Elisabeth Koonen, the Netherlands
