Een klant van Basic-Fit heeft een klacht ingediend over onterecht doorlopende betalingen na een maandlidmaatschap. Ondanks dat de medewerker bevestigde dat alleen voor één maand zou worden gefactureerd, werd de klant vanaf augustus 2019 tot nu toe voor een jaar lidmaatschap belast. De klant vraagt om terugbetaling en vindt het onredelijk dat hij de medewerker moet opsporen om het probleem op te lossen.

Mijn Klacht:

On 15th July 2019, I went to Basic-Fit Brussels-Ixelles (inside VUB University), and I told the Basic-Fit employee that was there that I wanted to make a contract for only 1 (one) month. He went to the machine and showed me the membership for just 1 month, saying that I would only be charged for 1 month and nothing more. To my great surprise, looking at my bank statement in detail, I have been charged for a year from Basic-Fit. I only visited the gym for 34 days and nothing more. I want my MONEY BACK! I didn’t contract any kind of recurrent plan. Since August 2019 until today I am being charged.
The most unbelievable part of this story is that Basic-FIT said that that IIIIIIII (ME) must to find this employee and ask him to this story. What????? Do I need to try to find the employee?????
This company wants to steal customers and force them to make contracts where they become prisoners. I just made a contract for 4 weeks and nothing else!
I didn’t sign anything allowing them to steal money from my bank account!

What surprised us the most and shows that you are acting in bad faith is that the customer service attendant said that we need to find this employee who helped us on the day of subscription. This is a very simple situation to resolve. You just need to return our 450 euros. My money was not refunded yet, more than 450 euros debited from my bank account without my authorisation. I am still waiting Basic-Fit solve my problem.
