Een gebruiker van Parkmobile heeft onvrede geuit over de kosten die in rekening zijn gebracht tijdens het parkeren in Delft. Ondanks dat hij dacht dat hij alleen voor een volle dag zou betalen, werd hij ook extra kosten aangerekend voor een kortere parkeertijd later op dezelfde dag. De klant vindt de service onbetrouwbaar en teleurstellend.

Mijn Klacht:

I have been using ParkMobile and have experienced the service very disappointing. I live in Delft and most of the time i have been parking my car at the zone Gasthuisplaats in Delft center however yesterday when i wanted to start parking in the same zone it directly started with Full Day charges (29Euros). and after an hour when i had to stop the parking then i realise that it has cost me big amount.

Now the other disappointing thing since they charged me for the Full day so generally i shouldn’t be charged until the next 24 hrs, however after an hour i had to come back on the same zone and i started the Parking again at the same zone and it cost me again for the time i stayed.. so it’s cost me for 24hrs and also the hrs that i stayed later on. It’s really disappointing.. I am so much dissapointed.. 🙁 I have stopped my account but i can say Park Mobile is just stealing the money that’s what i can summarise…

Dear sir/madam,

Thank you for your message.

We regret that the parking fees for 03-04-2017 surprise you.

We would like to inform you that a day pass is active for zone 3333. The rate information for this zone number is communicated by the municipality of Delft. The app always notifies the user of a day pass, when clicking on a zone number. Furthermore, the app displays a pop-up, which notifies the user of the presence of a day pass and rate information, when pressing on ‘START’. A parking action shall commence when pressing “Ok” in the pop-up notification. Unfortunately, it is not possible to correct or change a parking action, as the parking fees are recognized as parking taxes and we are obliged to pay those in full to the municipality of Delft.

As we have tried to inform you of this situation with multiple notification before starting a parking action, we are unfortunately unable to compensate the parking costs. We would like to advise you to always check the information icon next to the zone number for the rate information and to read the message mentioned by a pop-up as it states a warning or extra information that concerns a zone number. Our apologies for inconvenience.

We hope to have informed you sufficiently.

Thanks for your reply,

I have been using the APP for couple of months so i understand how the pop-up message comes up on the display! You haven't answered to my questions :

reference to the ZONE you have mentioned it's not correct.. I have parked my car in the ZONE 3057 (Gaasthuisplaats in Delft) where there i used to park since last few months and every time i park was starting up with the minutes charge. So it's the APP which did automated Full day charges.

Beside that since Parkmobile have charge me for the next 24 hrs theoretically i shouldn't be charge for next 24hrs but the same day later in the evening (21:36 till 22:18) i started the APP and it charge me again with 2.10euros which means the APP is not Sync to the actual parking time.

That's why i am very kindly requesting to reimburse the cost of 24hrs and charge me for whatever time i have parked in the region.
