My laptop screen started breaking apart and I called Dell. They looked at the photos and told me that it will be booked under warranty and they will do the repair free of cost. After sending the laptop to DELL, I received a call stating that the repair is not covered under warranty and I have to pay for the repair which is almost the price of a new laptop. I wonder why would Dell respond differently for the same problem at different time. Also since I did not agree with paying the repair fee, they sent my laptop back without repairing. After receiving the laptop I tried logging in but it did not boot. Before sending the laptop for repair, it was working fine and I even made backup of data and removed the password as Dell asked me to do so. I sent a mail stating that my laptop is not booting but I didnt get any response.
The booting problem in the laptop has to be solved. The laptop has to be repaired.
