Mijn Klacht:
To whom this may concern
I am writing because I was treated unjustly today by an erring cashier. I went for a quick grocery shopping bij Jumbo Heyhoef today just before 12 noon. I picked 7 needed items and scanned each of them. The pack of krieltjes costing 1 euro did not scan at first attempt. A girl who was filling the refrigerator racks with fresh vegetables offered to help but then before she could do it, I scanned it again and this time it registered. All went well until payment time. As always, I’ve made a conscious effort to check whether the number of items I’ve got in the cart was the same as the one registered in the scanner, 7 items costing 13.58 euros. At the kassa, the erring cashier (check) scanned 3 items, the last one she scanned was the pack of krieltjes. And she told me, Mevrouw je hebt deze niet gescanned. I replied I scanned it twice, the girl by the greens afdeling knew it. She insisted the scanner says it so. Je moet naar het bandje, mevrouw.
I did not want to make a scene so I went to pay at the other cashier, anyway . It all (7 items) cost 13.58 euro, the very same amount that appeared in my scanner earlier.
The attitude of this erring cashier towards a loyal customer is utterly untolerable. Her manner of telling me ‘ Je heb het niet gescanned mevrouw’ in front of other customers is tantamount to accusing me of dishonesty. Never in my life have I stolen or taken a thing unpaid by skip scanning and certainly not for 1 euro only to disparage my dignity. Moreso, it sounded like the erring cashier commanded me to line up to the other cashier.
I therefore demand a remedy for the unjust act of the said cashier (mederwerker) from the Jumbo Heyhoef Tilburg.
Note: I know the name of the cashier as she lives near my house.
Thanks, I am hoping for a quick action from your regarding this matter.

Gewenste Oplossing:
I would be content if that erring cashiermedewerker from Jumbo Heyhoef Tilburg would personally make a formal apology to me.
