I had a nightmare experience trying to get ice cream in Jamin Almere stad. There was no one waiting at the counter when I was ordering ice cream. I waited for some time to be helped by employees. A male worker (he is not Dutch) noticed me waiting, but for some reason he did not come to me (he was not busy doing anything!). When he finally decided to serve me, I asked him about an ice cream flavor I don’t know, he answered me with one word and looking very uninterested. Looked like he was really unwilling to serve me. Then I chose my cone, I pointed at the third type of cone and he took the first type. I was like, oh, is that the same? He said yeah and continued to looked very uninterested. Later on, he gave me the smallest scoop of ice cream I ever had. He barely looked into my eyes during the entire serving process, I felt very disrespected.
Afterwards I was gonna pay. Then this young girl’s attitude was also cold and almost mean (she looked at me like she was from a higher class), I have never saw such pride and humanless in sales people. So then I was paying for my ice cream and was not aware that my ice cream will drip. She told me to be aware of it with a very cold voice and a face with no smile. I said I was sorry, but she did not reply me. I was quite angry after I left the store because of a cheap ice cream! My story sounded quite mild, but I felt disrespected by 2 people in a few minutes for 1.5 EUR. For some unknown reason, these two workers looked so annoyed and manifested their annoyance and ‘couldn’t care less’ faces to the max. I told myself that I won’t ever come back for such unacceptable service. A candy store is suppose to bring happiness, I don’t want to walk out with anger and disgust.
I thought I am not gonna do anything about this incident, but customers do not deserve to be treated such a way! If this franchasier is so uninterested in customers, why open a store that is suppose to deliver joy?
Let Jamin company knows the existence of terrible customer service of their franchasiers.
