I came in this morning at 7am since I was told that vulnerable people could shop in store from 7am to 9 am .
7 months pregnant with horrible back pain I came in so I could avoid queues and contact with a lot of people .
I hadn’t even set one foot in then this blond haired old lady with short hair and glasses starts screaming in Dutch how they’re not opened and how old I am !!’ And that I need to leave immediately and come back later . I said that I’m pregnant and that seemed rather unkind because I came in to grab a few things and go home . Another worker and someone who came to clean the windows all looked so uncomfortable from how she was screaming at me .. I kept pleading with her that I woke up early just to get my things almost in tears and everyone else looking on she said just go in now and never again and that I better pick a basket .
I have not experienced such horrible treatment since the 90s where racism was prevalent . I’m in my room wondering what I did wrong to deserve such treatment .
I could not get her name because she didn’t even have her name tag on . Worst morning ever ! Worst shopping experience ! I always shop at this store and I’m surprised at how horribly I got treated . I think it would be good for Albert heijn to hire young and energetic workers instead of old angry women who need to retire . I genuinely think she should be fired . Yes it was that bad !
