Mijn Klacht:

Good morning!
On 30.05.2017 I made a reservation of holidays with Corendon.be
Reservation was made on the phone, where the operator has only asked travellers details and my contact details. No any other additional information concerning the travel and conditions was communicated to me by operator. On 31.05.2017 I have received by e-mail the confirmation of my booking. During next few days I was checking reviews of the hotel, conditions, and found that it is not the best deal for my budget.
On 6.06.2017 I have received from Corendon reminder of payment for my reservation. Since I was no longer willing to use it I went to the website to cancel it. Only then I have discovered that cancelation is possible only with payment and the later I will do it the more it will cost (since the booking amount has already changed from 25 to 50 EUR per person! – total EUR150 for me). I have contacted Corendon by e-mail asking them to waive the cancellation fee since I was not informed about it during the reservation, neither it was mentioned in any of their written communication. They replied that booking can be cancelled only with fee and that it noted in general conditions.
Please help me to solve the issue: information and conditions of reservation were not transparent, cancellation fee was not directly mentioned to me, I have never – oraly or in written – has agreed with general conditions, neither did a pre-payment to confirm my reservation.

I would like Corendon to confirm the cancellation of booking without fees.
