Mijn Klacht:
We rented a car that had a scratch on it (one of 13 in fact). One wasn’t on their documentation, so we photographed it and left, as there was no-one there to report it to, and thought as it was minor that perhaps it wouldn’t be an issue.
We sent the photo and a photo of my iPhone with the datestamp clearly on it. They refused to take it any further, but with no explanation why as the proof is very clear. They are impossible to talk to and email responses take almost a month.
The cleaning charge, was just for vacuuming the sand and dust that we left behind.
Gewenste Oplossing:
A car rental that should have cost £71, ended up costing €501. Reading reviews it looks like this is there standard business practice.
