Mijn Klacht:
One of our VP’s based in Craigavon (Northern Ireland) took the train from Schiphol airport after his plane arrived at 21:55, heading towards Nijmegen via Utrecht. The train broke down in Ede-Wageningen and he has been waiting outside for alternative transport (bus), but it took so long and he knew he had to get up early next morning (to get back in business) that he finally decided around half past one (!) to take a taxi to reach his hotel in Nijmegen in the middle of the night (at 2 o’clock). This taxi cost him €112,37 and he wonders if there is a way to get a refund.
Gewenste Oplossing:
My colleague would like to get a refund for the taxi bill or at least a compensation.
He paid for a train ticket, but the train did not bring him to his final destination.
