Mijn Klacht:
As a vegetarian facing the daily struggle to make lunch for myself at work I was Extremely excited to see a new range in Albert Heijn. Four new delicious-looking meals to choose from felt like Christmas!
However I purchased the “Chili sin carne”, and was about to cook it when I read carefully through the ingredients… only to find that it contains gelatin AND stremsel!! Gelatin is obtained by boiling down skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones from cows or pigs. Stremsel is extracted from the stomachs of slaughtered young, unweaned calves. This is really very misleading naming and marketing, and just plain unacceptable!!
Please do something about these unnecessary added ingredients!!
