Mijn Klacht:
Travelgenio weigert een refund te betalen van tickets voor een vlucht uit mei 2020. Na heel wat mails (waar zelden op gereageerd wordt) in het Engels, krijgen we enkel en alleen te horen dat een refund níet mogelijk is. Wettelijk gezien is dat wél zo, maar we komen geen stap verder, gezien geweigerd wordt de tickets te vergoeden.
Dit krijgen wij telkens terug als reactie:
Unfortunately the airline does not offer the refund option.
However, due to the exceptional circumstances, they allow to cancel the booking and keep the ticket open for changes without penalty during one year after the ticket was issued
Later, you can use this credit to pay for new flights (always with the same airline and for the same passenger) of your choice without penalty, provided you pay the flight fare difference, which necessarily has to be zero or positive and the taxes of the new ticket.
These new flights must take place until one year after your current ticket was issued
if you wish to proceed with the cancellation and credit creation, please the names of the passengers you wish to cancel and create the credit for in your reply, as well as the four last digits of the card used to book these flights.
In order to continue to retain the value of the ticket in credit we charge 30 EUR per passenger or you can contact directly the airline to manage it.
