Mijn Klacht:
I ordered something from IKEA. They said it would come Wednesday, but it never did. I decided to stay home on Thursday to wait for it, and later that evening I got a text from Red je Pakketje saying that the package would arrive shortly. I saw and heard the delivery truck pull up, and the guy got out with my package and disappeared, but I expected him to ring my doorbell or knock. He left a few minutes later and marked the order as delivered.
I got in contact with customer service because my package hadn’t been delivered to me at all. I was told that he had left it in the hallway behind an open door. It turns out that he just gave it to my neighbour, who was standing in their doorway, rather than ring my doorbell when I was literally home. I had to spend over an hour on customer service discussing this with the agent who had to continually relay with the driver. I even had to send a screenshot of my own door from Google Streetview to illustrate which door was mine and which was my neighbour’s. Absolutely ridiculous nonsense. Complete waste of my evening and it was an item of furniture (a table) that I really need for my work life and now I will have to spend additional time finding something that I paid for and also paid delivery for. Shameful service,
Gewenste Oplossing:
When I and all the other people complaining actually get their packages delivered to their doors when they are home rather than their neighbours' doors because it is more convenient for lazy or ignorant drivers
