I am extremely dissatisfied with the service of this insurance. I have bought is together with my Macbook Air in October 2014. In the beginning of December 2015 I spilled water on the device that got completely broken, it was not worth fixing it. I have sent my request for Actua and it took them more than a month to finally get money (voucher) to buy a new one.
I have written several e-mails with different questions, the customer service missed some VERY important questions that I have raised, it felt that my question was ignored. I also called several times and what they told me on the phone was totally different what they actually did. What I confirmed on the phone (and they even made a note about it), they asked again in their email. They promised that they would send me the voucher within 1 day, and eventually it took them 3 days. It was a huge problem for me, because I was moving from Holland.
everything was totally misaligned and miscommunication from their side. When I bought the new laptop 2 days ago they asked me if I want to buy this insurance again, I immediately refused. Never again! And I would not recommend it to anyone. Eventually I am happy to have a new laptop, and looking into different insurance that are much cheaper and hopefully have a much better customer service!
Gewenste Oplossing:
I expected a faster service (within 2 weeks). I hoped to have a better communication at the company.
