Mijn Klacht:
I bought a table on Sklum website and I received it on the 5th of October, the package box was all in order, the box arrived not damaged. It was an evening on a working day (Tuesday) and I physically did not have the time to open the box until Saturday, 9th of October (which is only 4 days after receiving the product). When I took out all the parts, I saw that the main structure of the table is strongly damaged; it clearly is a structural damage and not damage that occurred during the transport. When I requested to return this product on Sklum website, my request got declined stating that I should have reported a product broken during transport (!) in 48 hours after I have received it. As I mentioned before, it is clearly a structural damage that very unlikely would have occurred during transport (since the product is all well packed in with protections and the package box was all in order). So based on this claim I was told that I cannot return the product. First of all, Sklum cannot claim that this product was damaged during transport (I understand that they want to charge a transport company for the damage), secondly and most importantly – following EU customer law, any product bought online should be able to be returned to the seller no matter the reason (let alone if it is broken) within 14 days.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I want to receive a full refund for this product.
