Mijn Klacht:
On 17/6 and 14/7; I’ve been charged on my bank account by OV Translink the amount on 20EUR for an automatic reload.
The first amount could not be directly deducted, the second amount was paid by my bank on the same date of the automatic reload (receipt attached).
A letter to request the payment of the first amount in 15 days has been sent my email address. Yet, this didn’t mention that if this amount was not collected the debt would have been transfered to the collecting agency Intrum Justicia with a fee of 40EUR.
On 16/8 I received a email from Intrum justicia requesting the payment of 80EUR (20+20 for the automatic reloadings, 40 for the fee). However, I sent them on 28/8 the receipt attached as evidence that the automatic reload on 14/7 has already been paid regularly and timely.
But as of today, my OV Chipkaart is still blocked and I haven’t received any confirmation from Intrum justicia that the second amount has already been paid.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I would be more than happy to pay for the first automatic reload with the amount of 20EUR (which I have been credited but never paid it) plus the fee of 2,50EUR as first communicated in the email by OV Chipkaart.
However, I don't think it's fair to pay for the second automatic reload of 14/7 because I already paid it and the receipt attached proves it.
For the same reason and for the trouble caused by requesting an incorrect amount without providing timely response to my queries of clarifications, I don't think it's fair to pay a 40EUR fee for a 20EUR dept.
In fact, such fee amounts to 200% the amount which I find unproportionate.
