I have purchased a few lights and some mobile phone accessories from www.lightinthebox.com on 17 May, for a total value of €247.19. It took 2 weeks longer than I anticipated to receive my order, and what amazed me the most was not only I have to pay additional €62 to UPS upon delivery, also, the lamps were made from plastics, looks totally different from the photos on their web sites, the charger was defect, and the Galaxy tablet cover was wrongly designed, the camera hole was on the wrong side.
I first complained to their customer service about the €62 I had to pay on delivery, they promised me to refund $40, (50% of the €62), but they closed the ticket instantly so that I could not forward them my account information.
I then complained about the defect charger, they promised to send me a replacement but I asked for refund, together with the $40 they previously promised, as I was not ready to pay another fee on delivery. They simply ignored my request, they send me a coupon of $10 for the charger and closed the ticket.
This is by far the worst online shopping experience I have had in my life, not only there were a lot of hidden cost, this company promises you something that they never deliver, when you have a complaint, there is no direct channel to contact them, and they close the ticket ID without solving your problems, this is the worst online shopping I have experienced, and let alone I have not yet complained about the quality of the products, and the wrongly designed tablet cover.
Gewenste Oplossing:
As soon as they deliver what they promised.
