On the 23rd of February I flew with Iberia from Amsterdam to Madrid. I have never experienced such bad and racist service in my life. When I got in the air plain with my five year old son and our two hand luggage I asked a stewardess if she could help me because I am pregnant! She looked annoyed and didn’t want to help me, then she asked her man college of he wanted to help and he as well was really annoyed to help me with my bags! I mean what is this!?? I am pregnant and traveling with a child. I could see people in the plain starring at me and feeling ashamed of the crews respond. I knew it was because of my hijab! I have never felt so insulted in my life. When he finally decided to help me he said, next time but your baggage in the cabinestore! I later refused to accept his help when I saw how they treated me! The man who was sitting next to me stood up for me and was so ashamed for this service and advices me to go to every newsreporter with this story and make a lawsuit about this. I only wanted an apology from the woman and man who treated me like this. So I filed a complaint in Madrid about this matter as soooooon as we landed! A few day later I got an email that shocked me! It said: we regret your experience, I mean o my god not even a sorry or an apology. I have never traveled with such a bad and racist airline. First I was looking only for an apology but now. !! I seek compensation for the stress and hurtful service that I as a Muslim woman got! This won’t be the last thing I do because no one has the right to treat people like this.
