Een klant heeft een lidmaatschap bij Fit for Free een jaar geleden geannuleerd, maar ontdekte later dat er nog steeds geld van zijn rekening werd afgeschreven. Ondanks herhaaldelijke bevestiging van de klantenservice dat de annulering succesvol was, ontving de klant geen bewijs van de annulering en werd er geen oplossing geboden toen hij opnieuw contact opnam. De klacht is inmiddels opgelost.

Mijn Klacht:

We canceled my membership 1 year ago, the day I accidentally subscribed via 043010168 registration number while I tried to enroll “bring your friend” thing via my partner’s membership at Fit for free. We asked how to cancel it at the information desk of Amersfoort fitness center at the same day. The staff said that we could do it only via customer service on telephone. We called your customer service and he said he successfully canceled my membership. I asked him twice to be sure and he said it is done successfully.

But months later I realized that Fit For Free has been deducing money from my bank count since then! I called the customer service again and the customer service has done nothing but accuse us for not having enough proof. They said that there is no call record of us. How can it be? The staff at information desk and customer service staff deceived me apparently. All the calls were not recorded even if they supposed to recorded all. I found the call from my call history. We called the number 09003483673 in 17 okt 14:43 and we talked for 25:52 minutes.

I have been to the gym 0 times almost in a year but had to pay the fee one year! I just came once as a guest of my partner the day I accidentally register to fit for free. I have been told that my membership cancelled but all the money has been withdrawn from my bank account. I told The Amersfoort info desk told us to call the customer service, and the customer service employee said we should have done it at the desk and didn’t register our call, claiming we should have check the membership every month. Her name is Nicola and I was very unhappy with our conversation with her. She misinformed us and in the beginning she said our membership already canceled then, she said it did not, she told us she would help us and at the end of the call she said that we cannot cancel our membership by calling.

I was misconduct by Fit For Free staff each time I contacted them face to face and by phone. It is really weird and shocking. I am really dissappointed by all these things, I though they were a more serious and corporate company.

Customer service employees didn’t have enough information, did not register the calls like they should, and accuse us of their own misconduct. I had to pay the membership fee many moths I hope you will do something about it.

Gewenste Oplossing:

It has been almost one year.

5 jaren geleden - Hi Emrah, Because you entered into an annual contract with a free period on 16-10-2019, your contract ends on 13-11-2020. This means that you have to pay a contribution until this end date. Your membership has been terminated on 13-11-2020. With sporty regards, Quinta Customer Care

5 jaren geleden - Hi again, The problem is that after I accidentally registered the membership while I am trying to enroll 'bring your friend' thing, I went to your branch in Amersfoort and I am told that it wont be a problem and I can cancel the contract easily with a call to customer service and they can not cancel it at the branch which is NOT TRUE. After I called a number of fit for free and talked 25 minutes at total on 17 oktober 14:43, they told that the contract was successfully cancelled which I understood then is NOT TRUE. After a few months I realized that I am still paying to Fit for free and I called the customer service again. They told me that I do not have a call history and I did not cancel the contract. At the end of the call, she also told me that the contract can not be cancelled by telephone and I would have done it by a form. I was deceived third time by Fit For Free employees. At the Fit For Free centre in Amersfoort, I was told that I could do it via a call, then I called and I was told that it is done, then after I realized that I was still paying the amount, I talked to customer service again and I am told that there is not any call history and I did not cancel my memberships. I sent my call history details with number and date to them and their respond was that it is not possible to cancel a membership via call center. I only did the things via the employees of Fit for Free's directions. I was deceived by Fit For Free employees consecutively. I had to pay 1 year membership fee of Fit for Free although I have never been Fit For Free. I have not used it even for a single time, but I had to pay all the money of 1 year membership because they have fooled me. Be careful and do not trust Fit for Free pls.

Hi,

Thank you for the information. I already knew it but that helped nothing. I just let you know your employees deceived me and how Fit for Free not did anything about it. Shame on such a big company like yours. I do not expect any solution or development regarding it and I do not believe you. I will just publish the terrible experience in each platform. Kind regards
