Mijn Klacht:
For over two years, i have been using a SONY XA1 Ultra with alot of satisfaction especially because of the fact on a full charge, i could use the battery for almost a whole day. This inspite of the fact that the phone was used intensively through out the day. On the 2 of august, the phone started loosing battery power suddenly. From a full charge to empty in under 15 minutes. This phone has alway been used by me personnally and the phone had a robust rubber casing. I had also had the phone for almost 18 hours under my constant supervision because i was driving to Italy on the 1st of August.
Sony Help desk, assured me that this was a problem that could arise if the battery was old/ damage and needed replacement. They advised me to contact Dynafix, I sent the phone for repair to Dynafix and a few days later, ofcourse as always the reponse of Dynafix is that the phone repairs cannot be covered by warranty of the product as the damage is due to liquid damage and corrosion. Repair is not possible, but i can surrender my phone for free or pay 50 euros diagnostic fee.
Nonsense: There is/was no liquide damage to the phone, since the phone works properly when attached to the cable. It only looses power very fast, because the battery needs replacement.!!
Too the experts at dynafix: phone is damaged beyond repair and should be disposed off free of charge or else pay 50 euros to have your own phone back. Thugs
This looks to me as though Dynafix is either looking to cheaply acquire customers phones for resale or for spare parts.
I expect my phone back in working condition and will take it for battery replacement elswhere.
Gewenste Oplossing:
Repair of the phone. I am sure it only needs a battery replacement.
If they arent able to fix my phone, then i expect it back in the same working condition I sent it to them so that another technichian can replace the battery.
