This morning I used the ATM in Rotterdam central station (in front of the RET service desk) to check my balance. My card (a rose gold metal Revolut card worth 40 euros) was then STOLEN by the machine. I called the support desk and was informed that there is nothing they could do about it because ‘they do not service the machine’. When I asked if they could contact the servicer I was told that was ‘out of their jurisdiction’ and the person on the phone was incredibly rude. This card has now had to be terminated by my bank as there is no way to that it has not been tampered with were I to get it back.
I expect the cost of my bank card to be reimbursed. This was a personalised card that I had only used once, and I did nothing that would warrant my card being stolen.
I would also want an apology.
