Mijn Klacht:
Yesterday evening (8th of October) at 14.58 I caught the bus no 182 from Leiden Centraal to Hoogmade, where my house is. I asked a ticket from the driver who told me that cost 4 euros. I explained her that I travel every day from Hoogmade to Leiden and vice versa and I pay 2 euros and that no bus driver has made me pay 4 euros before. She told me that ALL the other drivers do not know the exact price and that she drives that bus for ten years! After all, she asked me where I would stop. I told her that I would stop at Kerkstraat and THEN she told me that the ticket price for Kerkstraat costs 4 euros!! In the end I paid 4 euros because we were conflicting for 5 minutes and the bus had to go. I was really angry because I knew that she was trying to get advantage of the fact that maybe I do not know the prices because I am a foreign. The same driver few days ago, tried to make my housemate(who is foreign as well) pay 4 euros from Hoogmade to Ter Aar. We both know that even this trip costs 2 euros, because we often go to Ter Aar from our house. When my housemate told her exactly the same things she responded that for that time she could pay only 2 euros, but in general the ticket costs 4. I am inclined to believe that this was a matter of exploitation of foreign people.
I really hate when I get deluded and I would like this behavior not to be repeated in the future. Passengers travelling by bus or train for their jobs, know the ticket prices well.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I would like the bus driver to apologize for that behavior and not to adopt it again in the future.
