Mijn Klacht:
I tried to book a room in Centre Point Chidlom hotel in Bangkok.
For that I used your bookingssite.
On the first page I selected Centre Point Chidlom Hotel in Bangkok and I changed the dates from 20/21 July into 18-23 August.
I finished my booking and did the payment. Unfortunately I forgot to check the booking details before I paid. I did that afterwards and then I saw that the dates did not change but were still on 20 and 21 July.
After I contacted Customer services by email. I did not get an answer that was satisfy me. And it also took too long time.
I was angry and I decided to book another hotel.
After that booking I got one day later answer from Agoda that they will accept my new dates. Too late.
As a result I had to pay my name hotel and I have to pay Centre Point Chidlom in total more than 4.500 baht. That money is just waisted money.
My view is that Agoda has to take care, that once somebody changes the original data mentioned on your openings page for that particular hotel, Agoda must keep those new data in her database.
When you say: but you have to check your order before payment, I think you are right. Normally I do so, this time I trusted too much on the Agoda database.
My suggestion: refund to me 50% of the waisted money.
50% because I also had to take care better.
Gewenste Oplossing:
50% refund on what I pay to Centre Point Chidlom hotel.
