Dear McDonald’s,
I know, I am just a tourist, travelling to Netherland for a week but it should not be a reason to be rude with us.
First of all, that was our 2nd time in the Ridderkerk restaurant and there were no Wifi at all (both times).
Than they told me, I cannot use my bankcard (Maestro). I used it in so many McDonald’s before in so many countries around the whole world.
Sometimes we sit in a McDonald’s for 2-3 hours and studying. And of course we consume food and drink. But I’ve never ever imagined before that one day in one of the McDonald’s a manager-lookalike persone come to our table and ask us to leave because “it’s not usual to sit there for a long time”. It was the first time in my whole life, in the whole world to kicked out from a restaurant. It was so degrading, feeling like a homeless. And I am 6 months pregnant…so nice, isn’t it?
I fear that was our last time in a McDonald’s. I have been around 30 countries in the world but never felt this before….
