Dear Vueling Customer Service,
I am writing again regarding my reservation ….
I recently called your customer service and was informed that no refund or modification could be offered for my booking, and that I would need to purchase a completely new ticket, costing me over €400 extra.
I find this very discouraging, as this concerns a simple human error: while arranging multiple bookings at the same time, I accidentally reversed the outbound and return flights. The flights I need are the exact same routes and dates — only in the correct direction. I am not requesting a change of passenger, destination, or travel dates, only to correct the direction of travel.
I fully understand that changes may involve administrative fees, and I am more than willing to cover reasonable costs. However, being forced to repurchase the entire ticket at full price feels disproportionate for such a minor correction.
Therefore, I kindly request that Vueling shows goodwill and flexibility by:
• either rebooking the flights with applicable administrative fees,
• or offering a voucher / partial credit instead of requiring a full repurchase.
If no reasonable solution can be offered, I will unfortunately have to submit a formal complaint to AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety Agency) and relevant European consumer protection bodies, as I believe this situation does not reflect fair treatment of passengers.
I sincerely hope we can resolve this amicably. I have always trusted Vueling for my travels, and I would greatly appreciate your cooperation in correcting this honest mistake.
