Esmeralda Daniels en Muzaffer Demiryurek meldden dat zij op 20 augustus 2018 niet konden inchecken voor hun vlucht van Barcelona naar Amsterdam, ondanks dat zij op tijd bij de incheckbalie waren. De medewerkers gaven aan dat de vlucht overboekt was en toonden weinig empathie, wat leidde tot frustratie bij de reizigers.

Dear SirMadam
On 2082018 myself and my partner were due to fly back to Amsterdam Airport at 15.30 am from Barcelona. When we arrived at the airport at 14:00 am we joined the queue for the check in.
And check in Online, At 15.05 As soon as we got to the desk we were told that the flight was now closed Overbooked I asked how can you not allow us to board the flight when you could plainly see we were in the queue already waiting. Her attitude was one of total irritation, as if she was totally fed up with her job. She would not make eye contact with me at all, in fact most of the time she was talking to me she turned her head away from me which i found very rude. I asked when the next flight was to Amsterdam and she informed us that there was not another flight . I then explained to her that i had a training the next day from my work, She just shrugged her shoulders and said what do you expect me to do? She turned her head away again as if she had no intention what so ever of being any help. I asked what we were supposed to do now. She told us to go to Vueling Customer Service desk. This was right the other end of the airport. As We arrived at the customer service desk and again the attitude of Vueling staff was disgusting. Again the staff seemed very irritated and very reluctant to give any helpful information. We were told oat customer services that there was nothing they could do. We then walked all the way back to near the check in desks and went to the customer information desk to see if someone there would be more helpful. We explained to the person at the information desk that we had actually been in the queue and two other couples had gone through in front of us but they would not allow us to board. As we were telling him this he began to smile and said that this was happening with Vueling on almost a daily basis. This gentleman explained that the only thing that we could do was walk all the way back to Vueling Customer Service desk, put in a complaint and ask for our money back. So we walk all the way back to Vueling Customer Service Desk and we were greeted by the same irritated and unhelpful attitude. We filled out a complaints form and were then told that there was a flight the next morning we didnt had a choise and but the tickets This flight left the following morning at 10.30 we had to get our bagage back.
We had to book a hotel again and take the taxi to our hotel, for 1 day we lost 500 euro!
Whe heard a lot off bad storys afrer what happend to us… a nother man there He told us EXACTLY the same as the gentleman on the information desk, that this was happening on a daily basis and what Vueling were doing was over booking the flights and then telling passengers that the flight is closed . Whether or not the flight was over booked still does not excuse the fact that we were refused to board our flight EVEN THOUGH WE WERE IN THE QUEUE AND HAD DONE EXACTLY AS WE WERE TOLD. Treatment of Vueling passengers and the attitude of the staff are absolutely disgusting. On top of all this i also had to pay an extra day hotel and taxi. As a result of all this, obviously i missed my training from work !
I want my money back for the tickets i purchased for the Vueling flight which was €280, i want the money back that i then had to spend on 1 night hotel at evenia Hotel which was 112.42 Euros and i also want the money back for the extra taxi , retour hotel and airport 70 euro And the extra dinner we had to do that day.
I can honestly say that in all my years of travelling i have never been treated so poorly.

Gewenste Oplossing:

Als ik alle kosten terug heb die we hebben gemaakt door deze toestand.
