Friday November 4th me and my daughter “missed” our flight from Barcelona to Rotterdam. We were still on time to check in. We were in a bus accident and my daughter was really sick so I went to the toilet with her. We arrived at the gate 1.45 pm, still 20 minutes before departure. Still, they did not let us on board. I could not believe it, in the past I have sat waiting inside a plane for couples to arrive an hour late, but we could not get in? My daugter was really upset but the people at the gate did not care at all and did not make the slightest effort to let us through. Do you know what it is like to be left there with a sick 5- year- old? What made things even worse, is that nobody could tell us what to do. They sent us to the luggage, belt 6, for our suitcase. We were there for one and a half hour, only to find out that our luggage might have departed without us. I thought this was illegal? I will surely figure it out. When we were sent from one “helpdesk” to the other, I found out that I had to pay 667 euros to get back to Brussels, if I wanted to take my sick child home the same day. I had heard many bad things about Vueling, but I cannot believe people are so indifferent and cold. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. Actually, I still can’t believe it. When I told my collegues this horror story today, they told me to sue right away, which I will. The least you could do, is to compensate me for the new Vueling flight I had to book.
