Mijn Klacht:
I started boarding at Schiphol airport very early for flight number vy8367 to Malaga.
The ground steward was alone, and clearly irratable with the work pressure.
When I showed him my passport, he shouted in very rude and abrupt manner that I could’t board the plane. I asked him why? He told me my first name wasn’t complete. I told him I was sorry and I would be happy to pay extra costs. He shouted again at me that he won’t have time to do anything, because he was alone and he was very stressed. I told him again I would be happy to pay extra. He just replied very abrupt; You think you gonna board this plane? You won’t. I don’t have time.
He continued being rude other guests boarding the plane.
Without offering me any other information, I quietly waited about 15 min hoping for a solution, while the other guest boarded. He really stolled and chatted with his collegue.
When I finally spoke to him again, he kept kept yelling me he didn´t have time for me. While there was no other guests.
He finaly spoke to somebody on the phone, the person on the phone said they could still add me on the plane, where he anwsered that he already took me off the flight.
He wouldn’t give me his name, he said it was a privacy issue.
Hereby I would like to make a formal complaint about this employee. He was a black middle aged ground steward with dutch herritage. He must have had many more complaints, taken in consideration the way he spoke me, but also to many other vueling guest.
This problem could have easily been resolved. I brought a big wallet and big smile. Happy to pay for any extra costs.
But due to your incompetent and exceptional rude staff,(and possible understaffing), I saw my flight depature in front of me,. and missed a very important business meeting.
