Mijn Klacht:
I have sold an item on Vinted, total price 100.00 Euro.
I packed the package with care because I’m sending a loved item to someone else, I used extra plastic bag, air bag, and double taped. But I received a message from Vinted that the parcel was damaged, item was not properly packed, so they give the buyer compensation. They gave me a link to claim if I want, but the link is directed to a Error Page. ( http://claims.royalmail.com/ )
I cannot do anything now because I dont have any proof that the packaged is lost, or damaged, or the item is lost. There was a picture sent by the buyer of an opened box at her house, but this was deleted later by Vinted in the conversation line I think, it’s not there anymore. I just told by Vinted that the item is Lost. They dont give me any proof.
The parcel was sent by UPS, and buyer signed that they received the parcel. So UPS also has no responsibility in this.
Vinted is just not giving me any solution, any answer.
I am very disappointed at Vinted because I thought its a nice platform. I understand damage or lose could happen and their policy, but how they treat people is not the standard.
Gewenste Oplossing:
1. Proof that item is lost during shipment, and buyer didnt get the item.
2. Receive my item back
3. Compensation
