I wish to write a complaint.
UPS Tracking number: 1Z5788736870180562
I’ve been waiting for an important package to arrive today (11.1.2019).
As following the tracking service I’ve seen that the courier is on his way to my place (Schedule to arrive by the end of the day)
I was staying home the whole day so I won’t miss the courier, while constantly checking the tracking service online.
at 16:35 I’ve noticed that the courier somehow have a problem with the address (as I checked was filed correctly on the site as well).
Immediately I contacted the client service, explained the problem and have them telling me that I’ll be contacted back.
20 minute after I’ve received a call telling me that my package would arrive only in 4 days (after the weekend) because the driver is on his way home. To remind you, the time of the call back was 17:30.
I was also told that it was the driver’s last delivery and that’s why he can’t come back.
THAT explains why the driver didn’t open the car’s window and just asked about the address in such a small village.
I think it’s outrageous that I have to wait the whole weekend because of an internal fault from UPS or because of a laziness from the driver.
waiting for the next day would be considered acceptable but not a whole weekend because The driver is already on his way back home as I was told by UPS representative.
Gewenste Oplossing:
I'll be satisfied if UPS will accept their responsibility to the matter and make an effort to provide the package before the weekend (if not the same day as I would definitely expect).
