I sent a package yesterday using UPS. I thought it was the best choice, but it has been a nightmare. Why does sending a package to have to be so difficult?
First, you enter the information to create the label and because it is going internationally then they ask for a commercial invoice, information that I fill in while doing the process. In my case, is a gift, I’m not a company, so for me, this is useless, but I understand for customs are necessary to declare; once I finish the process, the label appears to print, also pay for the pickup of the package and then a window pops up that explained to whom I must give the package. When I print the label, it has some instructions and the second instruction is about the customs invoice, they ask for three copies for shipments with a commercial value, in my case I thought it did not pertain to me, this is something that I made for a friend it doesn’t have commercial value but sentimental value. But once the package was picked up by UPS, I received a message that some documents are missing, THE COMMERCIAL INVOICE. Called customer service, which is located somewhere in Thailand, and they advised me to wait for a call. This call was to inform me where to send the invoice, I miss the call and the man left a message explaining that I must forward my invoice to [email protected], which I did, but nothing happened with my package… Still, show an error, call cust service again and once more I got the call from the same guy and the same information, so I try [email protected], and nothing, call back and requested an email with the email address and I received an email with Export Amsterdam@ups .com and of course, this doesn’t work, call back again and got [email protected] and nothing, now I decided to go into blogs to see if there is hope and I saw another email address [email protected]. And from this a got a case number… So, since 8:00 am on March, 9th, and now is 2:18 pm, and still I have not been able to fix the issue my package will be delayed or maybe never arrive at all, and I do not know if my friend will be there to get the package. EXTREMELY A BAD EXPERIENCE AND IS NOT OVER! Why important information can not be found on the website ? Why so many issues to send a document ? This is crazy!
Gewenste Oplossing:
I would like my package to be delivery by Friday 3/10/2023, and I would like also a refund because I had wasted all my day on this issue and still not resolved.
