Mijn Klacht:

I locked my keys in my home. I was promised that the mechanic would be at my home home in 20 – 30 minutes. After waiting for closer to an hour, he arrived.

When initially phoning, I asked for a price and was told that it was not at all possible to give a price ( not even the highest possible estimate).

On arrival I was told that the cost would be 170 EUR for opening the door and 30 EUR for the callout. Hesitantly I agreed. After the door was opened, I was informed that the cylinder replacement would cost 213 EUR.

I asked for alternatives and the mechanic assured me that, if I were to buy the lock myself, I would pay 60 EUR more. From searching for the lock and comparing prices, this now seems highly unlikely.

My final invoice was 550 EUR. I feel taken advantage of.

Gewenste Oplossing:

I would like to have at least a fair amount refunded. I would also like to make sure that no-one else has to suffer the same situation.
